The Thule Motion 3 XL is a spacious, aerodynamic roof box designed to add secure gear storage for road trips, ski travel, family vacations, and outdoor adventures. Its streamlined, forward-leaning profile helps reduce drag while providing 18 cubic feet of cargo space.
The PowerClick quick-mount system uses an integrated torque indicator to signal when the box is properly secured to the roof rack. Thule's SlideLock system separates the locking and opening functions and indicates when the lid is securely closed, while dual-side access and a wide lid handle make loading and unloading easier.
With a 165-pound load capacity, the Motion 3 XL can accommodate 5–7 pairs of skis or 3–5 snowboards and fits skis up to 200 cm long. Its forward position is also designed to help maintain access to the vehicle's rear hatch.
