How can I quickly get what I need?
The front pocket of The North Face Recon is an expandable space with daisy chains on the outside to attach other gear to your backpack. The pocket is open elastic on the top with a mesh panel. Perfect spot for stashing a wet hat or raincoat quickly.
What about my water bottles?
No worries the recon has two deep pockets. They can be expanded or tightened with nylon straps and buckles. The material is the same as the rest of the pack.
How can I protect my phone and smaller electronic devices?
This is the best part! Underneath The North Face logo is a zipper to a fleece lined compartment. Easy access to your electronics or sunglasses without the worry of them being scratched.
Is there room for all of my books, electronics or gear?
Yes! There is a large main compartment for your folders, books and binder. The bottom of the pack has buckles and straps to adjust capacity.
What about the smaller things like my tablet or protein bars?
The front compartment with internal organization has a padded tablet sleeve, a pendolier and additional secure-zip pockets.
What about my laptop?
Your laptop will fit protected and secure in its own padded compartment. A 15’ laptop will fit perfectly.
